Sunapee Recreation Committee March 7, 2006

Minutes from February will be approved at next meeting.
1. Email received from Ed Tenney. He wants borrow basketballs for his AAU team. It was discussed. We voted to disallow equipment use if it was not a rec team. He will be told to check with Dave Barry about gym use and equipment.
2. Is there an out of Towner’s policy for Rec. team participation? We discussed differences in perception of policy. Scott will look into what the policy is. He will create a 3 ring binder for policies so they will be quick to reference.
3. The Sunapee Harbor children’s playground the Sunapee Garden has been downsized and moved further away from the water.
4. Softball Clinic-great response over 30 preregistered so far.
5. Sunapee Ski Day is March 17 at Mt. Sunapee.
6. March 11 is Basketball awards day at SMHS.
7. Registration for baseball and softball is March 11, 15, and 18.
8. Beach staff positions advertised. So far four have applied for manager and three for general staff. Electrical work is complete.
9. Easter Egg hunt Aprili15
10. Beautification of Veteran’s field. Mark Usko and Tony Bergeron are ready to help in spring.
11. Next meeting Tuesday April 4 at 7pm.
